Good data doesn’t just sit in a spreadsheet; it guides decisions and shapes priorities. And for more than 30 years, it’s been at the heart of positive change in our community. For Estipona Group, being part of that story isn’t just another client project. It’s personal.

Meet Our Client: Truckee Meadows Tomorrow

Truckee Meadows Tomorrow (TMT) has provided our most reliable community data for more than 30 years. Over 400 free, nonpartisan data points across ten quality of life indicators—from education to housing and most things in between—help nonprofits, businesses and community leaders understand what’s working and what needs work.

A quiet force behind some of our community’s most significant progress, we’re proud to support TMT’s mission as their marketing partner. But Estipona Group’s relationship with TMT started long before any ad campaign.

As a founding member of TMT, Edward Estipona (our founder and CEO) has worked closely with the organization since 1995. In 2024, he became Board President, focused on the funding and awareness needed to sustain the amazing work TMT does. Cue, Accentuate the Positive.

Reviving a Beloved Community Event

Accentuate the Positive was a staple event held by TMT in the ’90s and early 2000s, celebrating the people, organizations and initiatives making measurable progress in the Truckee Meadows. It was about shining a light on our community’s changemakers and using data as a tool for unity. The last event was held in 2009, when wallets tightened and sponsorships—the lifeblood of privately funded organizations like TMT—were hard to come by. 16 years later, we were honored to be part of its revival.

Here's where we get to brag a little.

As TMT’s marketing partner, we were charged with branding Accentuate the Positive 2025 and driving ticket sales. The challenge? Honor the early event and meet the expectations of those who remembered it, while making it feel fresh, relevant and reflective of the current state of our community.

This vision drove the event’s branding, from the logo to program design. We also managed social media promotions and outreach, helping share the story of Accentuate the Positive and positioning it as a can’t-miss community celebration.

The sold-out event took place on September 15, 2025, with the Cities of Reno, Sparks and Washoe County proclaiming it as “Accentuate the Positive Day”—a day to focus on what’s going right in our community and celebrate those making it happen.
