Social Media Specialist

“Whenever you have a second…”

They say the devil’s in the details, but for Alyssa Rodriguez, that’s where the magic happens.

As Social Media Specialist at Estipona Group (EG), Alyssa's days are spent planning, creating, scheduling and monitoring content for clients’ social media platforms. She is perpetually curious, collaborative and meticulous in her attention to detail. Add her love for building online communities and you’ve got an audience engagement rockstar.

With a background in film production, Alyssa is particularly passionate about projects with video elements. As video continues to dominate the digital space, she is committed to employing the TLC needed to deliver exceptional, meaningful content. Handling strategic planning, production and editing, she thrives on seeing the final product come to life and the impact it has on a target audience.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Alyssa is one of EG's in-house Spanish-language transcreation specialists. She adapts social media, digital and print materials for clients with Spanish-speaking audiences. Her language skills result from her upbringing in a Hispanic household and her Spanish language studies in Seville, Spain.

Alyssa holds a BA in Spanish and Communication Arts with an emphasis in Radio, TV and Film from the University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW–Madison). Her degree is complemented by diverse professional experiences, including an internship with the UW–Madison Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement. As a liaison, she developed communication and client education skills, which serve her well at EG. After graduating, she worked as an associate producer for a Madison broadcast TV station, keeping up with breaking news and gaining insights about diverse community problems. At EG, these skills help her solve tricky client problems and handle the fast-paced world of social media with grace, empathy and efficiency.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys creating content, including slice-of-life photography and short films. On a screen break, you can find her strength training at the gym or relaxing in a cafe, book in hand, enjoying an almond croissant.
