It's no secret that Northern Nevada has its fair share of philanthropic non-profits just waiting for donations of time, energy and resources. So which ones are close to our hearts? While we often dedicate time and expertise to local charitable foundations as a team, we also do so individually. Here are just a few of our personal causes:

The Estipona Putt-Putt Classic is just around the corner: May 29, 4:30-7:30 p.m., at Magic Carpet Golf. Here are all the ways this third annual event is all new! And improved, for people who are into that kind of thing.
It is the most anticipated mini-golf tournament of the entire mini-golf season in the entire world.
When we say “glitter,” what comes to mind?
Annoying. Insidious. Bad for the Earth. And probably some association with strippers, right?
But, funny story: Glitter is actually gloriously beautiful. And it’s intended to be abundant and sparkly and all the happy things.
Estipona Group’s Third Annual Diaper Duty Collects Record-Breaking 14,180 Diapers for Local Women & Children
Reno, Nev. (March 15, 2018) Now in its third year, the Estipona Group’s Diaper Duty (which is part of its #25Years25Deeds initiative) collected 14,180 diapers for families served through the Women & Children’s Center of the Sierra (WACCS) this year, breaking its record from previous years.
You’ve heard of the concept of “random acts of kindness,” yes? When a totally random someone does something completely unexpected and awesome for you?
Well we’re hijacking the concept, and substituting “pie” for “kind,” because they kinda sound alike, and also in celebration of pi(e) day, which is Wednesday, because it’s 3.14 if you write the date with a period, which is the mathematical number for pi, which is useful and awesome in lots of mathematical applications.
Still with us? Cool.
This year, we’re predicting a total blow-out!
(Awww, come on: You can’t expect us to avoid poop puns; they’re just too easy!)
That’s right, it’s our third anniversary of Diaper Duty, an annual event where we collect diapers for the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra (WACCS), and we need your help.
As another year comes to a close, it’s time to take stock and count our blessings. Twenty-four of them, to be exact.
This year, in celebration of the 24 years Estipona Group has been in business — and the 24 years locals have supported us, referred us, hired us and worked alongside us — we performed 24 community good deeds.
This year, we at the Estipona Group decided, as part of our #24Years24Deeds initiative, to establish the Good Deeds Fund through the Community Foundation of Western Nevada. The Fund will be dispersed in January 2018, after a full year of raising money through charity events like our Estipona Putt-Putt Classic, as well as contributions from company profits.
When you think of children and pajamas, your mind probably goes to cuddly snuggles, bedtime stories and cozy blankets.
And this should be the reality for all children — old or young, homeless or wealthy, healthy or sick. Because every child should have cozy, warm, soft pajamas to snuggle in at bedtime.
Throwing a party for the families living in the VOA shelter is something local organizations can volunteer to do every month of the year. And it has become one of our most meaningful annual traditions through our yearly good deeds campaign.
