We at the Estipona Group are absolutely oozing with it.

Gratitude, that is.

And the things for which we find ourselves feeling grateful this year range from the totally expected, to the “huh, hadn’t thought about that, but I’m totally down with your grateful vibe.”

Check out what made our list for yourself. And if you’re willing, head over to our Facebook page and tell us what makes you feel thankful.

PS. We’re also beyond grateful for YOU!

In many ways, “home” is everything. It’s where we feel safe and grounded, where we recharge for every new day, where we gather with loved ones and where we plan out our futures. With this in mind, we as an agency have committed ourselves to helping more of our neighbors find a home of their own.

I was recently honored and humbled to receive the 2017 “Friend of the Foundation” award from the Community Foundation of Western Nevada, a philanthropic organization that is near and dear to my heart.

Quick fact: Did you know in its 19 years in existence, the Community Foundation has awarded $100 million in grants locally? Now that’s impressive.

Anyhow, back to the focus of this post — which, by the way, is not about me or my award. It’s about you.

Do you wonder how anyone gets work done in busy open spaces? Do you wish you could offer more valuable contributions in team meetings? Do networking events exhaust you?

If so, you might be an introvert, and do we have a networking event for you!

And yes, we recognize the irony.

Our own VP of Strategy, Mikalee Byerman, is a loud-and-proud introvert. And she’s going to offer insights into the key differences between introverts and extroverts at next week’s NCET Biz Bite luncheon, taking place Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 11-1 at the Atlantis.

Estipona Loves: Fall!

The vast majority of us at the Estipona Group are rational, reasonable and normal. In other words, we’re lovers of fall.

The minority? Well, let’s just say we may or may not have one irrational, unreasonable and abnormal person on our team, and his name rhymes with Pedward Lestipona.

Regardless, MOST of us are celebrating our favorite season — one that can include 90+ temps and snow in the same week — by talking about what makes fall in northern Nevada the very best.

Check it out for yourself.

Estipona Loves: Irrational Fears

It’s Friday the 13th, and it’s October, and it’s only a few weeks before the scariest holiday of the year.

So what does all that mean? We’re pretty much scared AF! (As an aside, “AF” does mean “All Fall,” right? Thought so.)

So anyhow: What scares us, exactly? As part of our ongoing “Estipona Loves” vlog series, we’re talking about our irrational fears.

We hope you’ll leave a comment and share your irrational fears as well. Because misery loves company.

(Oh yeah: MISERY! The ankle scene! Kathy Bates! Even MORE things to fear!)

Hold one moment please: Our team and client are currently performing an obnoxious happy dance around our respective home offices. OK, we’re back. Thanks for waiting.
