Perhaps never before has a gym membership been so valuable.

Estipona Group may just have a 15-year-employee in Paige Galeoto because she belonged to 24-Hour Fitness —the same gym also attended by one of our former partners, which is when our seek-and-acquire mission went into full swing.

Hear the whole stalking story in this episode of EG Rewind. Also learn about Paige's favorite campaigns, what she really thinks of Edward and his “good gut” and how she initially pictured her future career in advertising (power suits with shoulder pads may have been involved).

Remember that time we put former Reno Phil conductor Barry Jekowsky in a white disco suit à la John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever?

Francine Burge does.

In this episode of EG Rewind, we talk with one of our longtime friends and clients, Francine, who helped us convince Barry to model Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Devo and John Travolta in an award-winning campaign.

Find out how Francine and Estipona Group embarked on guerilla campaigns pre-social media, and hear her best advice for anyone invited to a 1.5-hour brainstorm with Edward.

After having worked on an estimated 600-ish jobs together, you’d think these two would be tired of one another. But instead, they just finish each other’s sentences, laugh a lot and contemplate weighty things like exactly when Hammertime and parachute pants were a thing.

Check out our latest edition of EG Rewind with the amazing Jeffkin — AKA Photographer Jeff Dow!

Carol Quinn, retired art educator for the Washoe County School District, is pretty much THE reason Estipona Group is now celebrating 25 years.

It was her simple suggestion — “Take a graphic design course. It should be an easy A!”— that ultimately led Edward down the path toward a career in design, and eventually, opening his own agency.

For those who say teaching is a superpower, meet Carol Quinn: Educator, friend, foundation-layer for 25 years of Estipona Group success — and superhero extraordinaire.

EG Rewind: David Branby, Purveyor of Margaritas and Memories

Submitted by pgaleoto on Tue, 03/27/2018 - 11:07

In 1999, David Branby joined a six-year old upstart advertising agency named Envision, run by a cheeky 26-year old named Edward. Hijinks ensued.

In this episode of EG Rewind, we take a jog down memory lane with David, one of the Estipona Group’s early Creative Directors.

The two reminisce about how David got his suitcase (er, foot) in the door, road trips, Friday afternoon margaritas and lots of great creative work done on behalf of clients.

Take a listen.
