Chances are, you’ve heard the word ‘brand’ associated with products or services. Or even a celebrity. (Like it or not, the Kardashians are a brand). Since the term can be somewhat nebulous, let us share what it means to us:
In a nutshell, a brand is your public reputation. Its superpower is the lightning-fast ability to conjure up a visceral reaction to your product or company.
As your branding agency / marketing partner, our job is to help reinforce your brand so that consumers think of you the way you wish to be perceived. Want to be that burger joint worth ditching your vegetarian tendencies for? Or sell the car that screams, “I have arrived!”? Build a brand. Then be religious about your brand marketing from look and feel to messaging. (Oh yeah, and be sure to practice what you preach or those efforts will be wasted.)
So, where to begin? Establish a brand development strategy. Every communication you put forth that is true to the brand development strategy will affect not only the feeling consumers or potential consumers have about you, but an action they are willing to take in support of those feelings. Buying your product, calling your office, or clicking through to your website from an email are just a few of such actions.
